Transcripts
Outgoing transcripts
Students requiring transcripts to be sent from our institution to another institution outside of an Alberta post-secondary institution must contact the receiving institution to determine an acceptable email address to which we may send a copy of the student’s transcript. All other processes remain the same as to filling out the Transcript Request forms (below) and paying the appropriate fees. Our official sending email is Transcripts@NWPolytech.ca which the student should provide to the receiving institution.
Incoming High School or Post-Secondary Transcripts
We are able to receive most Alberta high school and post-secondary transcripts through Apply Alberta. Provided the applicant has included all the institutions on their application form, these can be requested on the student’s behalf. For students wanting to send transcripts to us from outside Alberta, please contact the sending institution(s) to request that the official transcript be sent via mail or email (if password protected).
In order to be considered official transcripts, transcripts should be sent directly to the admissions office from the providing institution. Transcripts provided by students will not be accepted.
Official transcripts for programs on both our campuses can be received through MyCreds.ca or emailed to Admissions@NWPolytech.ca. If you wish to mail your transcript, please use the following address:
ATTN: Admissions, Student Services
Northwestern Polytechnic
10726 106 Ave
Grande Prairie, AB

If admission is "conditional", the student will need to arrange for official high school and/or post-secondary transcripts to be sent directly to our Registrar's Office. For Alberta students, if we are unable to request these on your behalf, Admissions will contact you.
If admission is "not conditional", we should already have the necessary documents and nothing further is required, unless specifically requested.
If you are uncertain about anything, please call us. If we receive your transcripts and find that the information does not verify admission requirements, we reserve the right to withdraw the offer of admission or change your admission to an appropriate program. You will be notified of any changes. If transcripts are not received, admission may be revoked, and registration cancelled. The $250 tuition deposit is non-refundable.
